Bloc And NDP Must End Their Costly Coalition With Trudeau On Tuesday

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Ottawa, ON – After nine years of Justin Trudeau, costs are up, taxes are up, crime is up, and time is up. Yesterday, the Bloc and the NDP decided to prop up Trudeau’s failed government. But on Tuesday, they will have another chance to give Canadians the relief they desperately need by voting for a carbon tax election.

Trudeau has destroyed Canada’s promise. The promise where if you work hard, you can get a house you can afford in a safe neighborhood. Now, after nine years of his Liberal-NDP Government, it takes 25 years to save up for a downpayment. The cost of rent and mortgage payments have doubled. And to make matters worse, Trudeau has decided to place a punishing tax on food, gas and heating, which he plans to quadruple by 2030.

Trudeau has also unleashed a crime wave across Canada. Violent crime has increased by 50 percent since 2015, with our once-safe towns and cities becoming havens for chaos and disorder. And all the while life has become more dangerous and expensive, Trudeau created the most centralizing government in Canadian history, adding $500 billion in inflationary, bureaucratic spending that helped double our debt.

Canadians deserve the opportunity to vote in a carbon tax election. They want a common sense government that will axe the tax, build the homes, fix the budget and stop the crime.

That’s why Common Sense Conservatives have put forward another non-confidence motion on Justin Trudeau’s Liberal Government. If the NDP and Bloc fail to vote with Conservatives, it will be clear that Sellout Jagmeet Singh cares more about his $2.3 million dollar pension than he does about Canadian workers, and that the Bloc don’t care about Trudeau’s invasion into Quebec’s jurisdiction.

Common Sense Conservatives will not stop fighting until Canadians can vote for lower prices in a carbon tax election.
