Newsletter – April 15th
A lot has gone on since our last newsletter. The NDP-Liberal government released their 2022 budget which takes money out of each and every Canadians pockets and hurts our competitiveness on the world stage. Justin Trudeau’s plan introduces another $50 billion dollars in uncontrolled spending that can only be paid through higher taxes. The federal government is now 25 percent bigger than it was pre-pandemic.
Further, I also spoke in the House of Commons about Bill C-11, an Act to amend the Broadcasting Act. This bill has the same issues as bill C-10 from the last Parliament. As your MP, I will continue to fight to protect Canadian content producers from significant.
Here are some updates from the last couple of weeks on the job.

Watch my Speech in the House of Commons thanking the business community of Thornhill
I thank the Vaughan Chamber of Commerce for organizing a productive roundtable with local #Thornhill businesses. They have been impacted by the regulatory hurdles, an inflation crisis, labour shortages, and ongoing supply chain issues. Does the NDP-Liberal govt. have a plan to help local business stay in Canada?
Hint: NO
Canada’s Housing Crisis
We know one thing about this budget: It’s gonna be expensive. But it won’t help you.
Canadians are struggling to afford rent. Since 2015, the average price of a home has doubled. In the last year alone, prices have jumped a whopping 29.2%. This makes the dream of homeownership unattainable for families and young people across Canada and is driving the sky-high rent costs we are seeing in cities across Canada.
We need a government with common-sense solutions to the housing crisis.
The Rebbe’s Birth Anniversary
On April 12th, Thousands will visit the Ohel, the resting place of the Rebbe—Rabbi Menachem Schneerson, for the 120th anniversary of his birth. I told the House about Chabad-Lubavitch’s impact on communities around the world.

Happy Passover!
Passover is just weeks away. Got very special gifts to prepare for the Seders. It’s Shmurah Matzahs.
One of the great Mitzvahs of Passover is eating Matzah commemorating what our ancestors ate in while fleeing Egypt. The Mitzvah is best done at the Seder by eating the Handmade Shmurah Matzahs. That’s what he dropped off.
Happy Good Friday!
