Newsletter – June 24th
I just finished the last sitting of my first Parliamentary session. I can’t believe how far we’ve come together in just a few months. At the House of Commons, I have been fighting for you, to get inflation under control, to get people back to work, and to end corruption in this government. I introduced and supported legislation important to our community, like my Opposition Motion to end Covid restrictions, Bill C-250 (prohibition of Holocaust denial), and Keira’s Law.
There’s a lot more to be done, however, which is why I’m not going to stop, even though the House of Commons will be rising for the summer. I’ll be out and about in the community, listening to your ideas and being involved in what’s going on. If you see me out and about, please stop by and say hi!
I understand that even basic government services, like immigration and passports, can be very difficult to access at this time. My expert staff are ready to serve you if you are having problems or would like questions answered. Please call us at: 905-886-9911.
Thank you for your trust and confidence in the last few months. I truly could not be where I am today without your continued support.
In your corner,
Melissa

Thank you for helping me to keep the pressure on and hold Justin Trudeau’s feet to the fire. Because of you, we moved the dial and made a difference.
Let’s end all mandates – for good.
Government Continues to Block the Release of Health Data
Government caucus members blocked the release of health data at Transport Committee. What are the Liberals hiding?
Chaos at Canadian airports
Chaos at the passport offices
The government says this is because there is a “surge in applications”
… there is no surge. Not even close.
No one should ever have to get in line at 3 a.m. for a basic government service. Have you faced difficulties renewing your passport lately? You should know that the government’s math on the matter just doesn’t add up.
70% of the public service are still working from home. Time to get back to work and end the chaos for Canadians.
Did you know that NBA champ Andrew Wiggins got his start in Thornhill? I gave a speech in the House a few days ago to congratulate him and the Warriors on their NBA championship. Bring the trophy home.
