Latest from Lantsman – September 13, 2024

We’re nearing the end of summer and that means Parliament returns next week.

Since I last wrote you, Sellout Singh has announced the end of his costly supply-and-confidence deal with Justin Trudeau.

If Sellout Singh won’t partner with Trudeau anymore, then he needs to put his money where his mouth is, and let Canadians have their say in a carbon tax election.

So I’m announcing today that common-sense Conservatives will be putting forward a motion of non-confidence in this Liberal government as our first order of business in Ottawa.

Canadians are hurting, and we need to have an election now.

The vote in Parliament could mean that Canadians will hit the polls in just a couple of weeks. If you can, please consider making a small donation, signing up to volunteer, or doing what you can to help elect a common-sense Conservative government.

I’ll be sure to keep you posted on all the latest from Ottawa next week.

Yours,

Melissa Lantsman
Member of Parliament for Thornhill
Deputy Leader of Canada’s Conservatives

More Crime and Chaos

First, a father and son terror duo arrested in Toronto. Now, just last week, a suspected terrorist living in Toronto arrested near MTL with chilling plans to “slaughter Jews” on the anniversary of October 7, the deadliest attack on the Jews since the Holocaust.

In the year following the deadly Hamas terror attack in Israel, the Jewish community in Canada fears for their safety more and more every day with a government who has given them no reassurances.

The latest accused ISIS terrorist was able to enter Canada with a student visa in June 2023. US authorities said he planned to use Canada as a launching pad for attacks on Jews in New York City on the anniversary of Oct. 7 terrorist attack.

Liberal ministers must appear ASAP at committee to explain their latest failure.

Canadians deserve to know what the hell is going on

Working Hard for You

Welcome to Toronto Bari Weiss. 💪

You are a woman of valour and a very bright light in a sea of darkness. You will forever have a fan in me.

Thank you Naomi for showing me your “heART work for our Hostages.” Your drawings are a reminder to never give up our fight until they are home.

What a 💪💪💪 night with the DANI – Toronto community cooking up a storm at their Chopped for Charity event. Thanks everyone for coming out – shout out to all the teams who shared their awesome dishes with me, Laura Smith and Steven Del Duca ⏲🔪🧑‍🍳

Thank you always to Kathy, Rudy, the DANI team and committed board for another excellent event and everything you do in the community. You have a champion in me.

Thanks Aaron and the team at The Canadian Friends of Boys Town for having me for a fireside chat. And thanks to everyone for an engaging discussion on the future of 🇨🇦, free speech, affordability, the hate parades in our streets and our place in the world. Great engagement on what you want to see as we head back to Ottawa next week.

Another 6 beautiful souls taken hostage on October 7th by Hamas terrorists were murdered while in captivity in Gaza.

Don Stewart and I joined the community in mourning them. Bring every hostage home now.

Lantsman in the News

It’s been a busy news week. Here’s a recap of it all with Ben Mulroney.

Given what we’ve recently learned about one alleged ISIS terrorist being let into Canada, the Trudeau Government must be open and transparent and answer how and when Muhammad Shahzeb Khan was able to gain entry to Canada and whether there were any early warning signs.

Canadians need answers. Now.

That’s everything that’s happening in my world. I’ll be sure to keep you posted on all the latest.
