Sellout Jagmeet Singh Confirms Costly Coalition Still Alive

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Ottawa, ON – Since Sellout Jagmeet Singh told Canadians he was “tearing up” his costly coalition with Justin Trudeau, he has refused to answer at least 49 times whether he would vote non-confidence in the Liberal Government to trigger a carbon tax election.

But now, after the Bloc announced they will continue to support Justin Trudeau’s tired government, Canadians have Sellout Jagmeet Singh’s answer. He will continue to prop up Justin Trudeau, effectively piecing his costly coalition back together again. The only way the NDP can pull out of their coalition with Justin Trudeau is to vote non-confidence and trigger a carbon tax election. But Jagmeet Singh refuses to do this, placing his $2.3 million pension over the people.

Canadians are desperate for a new government. After nine years of the Liberal-NDP coalition, life has never been harder for Canadians. Housing prices have doubled, while Canada’s GDP per capita is weaker now than it was before Justin Trudeau became Prime Minister. Food banks are having to deal with millions of visitors every month. In Ontario alone, there are now 1,400 homeless encampments and violent crime has increased by 50 percent since the Liberals first formed government.

But Jagmeet Singh simply doesn’t care. He voted for the carbon tax 24 times. And he will continue to support Justin Trudeau as his government quadruples the carbon tax to 61 cents per litre, making the price of everything more expensive, just so he can claim his multi-million-dollar taxpayer-funded pension next year.

After nine years of Liberal-NDP economic misery, Canadians deserve better. Common Sense Conservatives will continue to fight for a carbon tax election so Canadians can vote for a government that will axe the tax, build the homes, fix the budget and stop the crime.
