Sellout Jagmeet Singh Puts His Pension Ahead Of Workers
December 9, 2024
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Ottawa, ON – Canadians now know that Sellout Jagmeet Singh’s words are worthless. Today, Sellout Singh and the NDP voted against a non-confidence motion in Justin Trudeau’s failing government that used Sellout Jagmeet Singh’s own words. This will keep Trudeau in power for longer, allowing the Liberals to hike the carbon tax again in the spring.
Jagmeet Singh has shown once again that he will always sell out Canadian workers. He has now voted three times to keep Justin Trudeau in power, even after he promised Canadians he had torn up his costly coalition. And he voted 24 times to support Justin Trudeau’s inflationary carbon tax, which has made the cost of everything more expensive.
This non-confidence motion was composed entirely of Sellout Jagmeet Singh’s own words. He told Canadians that Trudeau was “too weak, too selfish and too beholden to corporate interests to fight for people.” But instead of giving Canadians a carbon tax election, Singh is keeping Trudeau in power until he gets his $2.3 million taxpayer-funded pension next year, even though union workers asked the NDP to support the Common Sense Conservative motion.
Jagmeet Singh doesn’t care that his costly coalition with Trudeau has devastated Canadians’ paycheques. He has stood by and supported Trudeau as their government doubled housing costs while making families pay $800 more for food in 2025 than they did in 2024.
With the NDP-Liberal costly coalition, Trudeau gets power, Singh gets his pension, and Canadians get the bill. Common Sense Conservatives will not stop fighting to deliver a carbon tax election where Canadians can finally vote for a government that brings home lower prices for Canadians.
